There is a tesco superstore 5 min walk from the flat and a tesco express by the tube handy for picking up things when in a hurry. Ikea has a large superstore nearby and operates a free minibus service from the tube station. (see link below)

There's a wonderful canal and river close to the flat. A lovely place to go for a walk or jog on a nice day, stroll along the canal path to the park and you will find a cafe where you can stop for a coffee and snack.
